Among the many various commodities which are being imported in the Kish Free Zone, a great portion belongs to the home and office furniture, decorative indoor and outdoor lights and lighting systems and decoration equipment.

From the other side, Kish Island welcomes each year more than 1.5 million people, only from the main land, in a year for both touristic and trading aims. So its numerous hotels and resorts also should supply their needs to the furniture and decorative items by the imported goods, because the expenses will be lower if they use the imported furniture from abroad comparing those imported from the mainland.

The people themselves come to Kish Free Zone from the main land, especially from the southern provinces of Iran, to provide their needed furniture, because it would be so much cheaper for them.

So it seems that The 6^th Lights, Furniture & Decoration International Exhibition is being held in the best place, either to supply the local peoples’ needs or to make a business point for importing and re-exporting the furniture to the main land or to the southern countries in the Persian Gulf.

Furthermore, the visitors and consumers will travel to Kish from the neighboring cities, because this event is the main exhibition in the field of furniture, lights & decoration in the central and southern part of Iran, however, in the previous editions, people travelled to Kish from the southern countries of the Persian Gulf to visit this exhibition too.

Participants in this exhibition can utilize the special conditions of the economic free zones and export their equipment, exhibits or services to the Kish Island with the minimum customs tariffs and formalities, and no need to entry visa.
