These two preferences cause this island to welcome about 1.5 million people, only from the main land, in a year for both touristic and trading aims.

To hospitalize this great number of people in a small island, it necessitates have enough number of modern and well-equipped hotels and resorts. At present time something about 80 hotels are accepting the passengers, but this number is increasing rapidly because of the huge demands of the visitors. So these hotels should supply their needed equipment, furniture, services, materials and other necessities, keeping in mind that most of these equipment which are used in the hotels are being imported in Iran.

The 6^th Hotel Services & Equipment International Exhibition is being held to provide and display these facilities and services to the hotel owners of this island as well as the neighboring cities and provinces. It seems that Kish Island is just the right place for organizing such a specialized event. In fact hotel construction industry has been flourished in Iran in the Kish Island, especially in the past decade, after so many years stagnation which was occurred in this industry, mostly because of the long war between Iraq and Iran.

It is an undeniable fact that the hotels in Iran have not been renovated for a long time, because of the economic conditions. But now, by utilizing the governmental facilities, the hotel owners have to renovate the hotels’ equipment and buildings.

Furthermore, the visitors and consumers will travel to Kish from all neighboring cities, because this event is the only exhibition in the field of hotel equipment and services in the central and southern part of Iran, however, in the previous editions, people travelled to Kish from the southern countries of the Persian Gulf to visit this exhibition too.

Participants in this exhibition can utilize the special conditions of the economic free zones and export their equipment, exhibits or services to the Kish Island with the minimum customs tariffs and formalities, and no need to entry visa.

The visitors of this event are majorly the real consumers of hotel facilities and equipment. So it forms a fruitful and direct mutual relationship between the right persons within the 4 days of this event, which will lead to bilateral business agreements.
